During this call, we’ll listen to your symptoms, address your concerns, and answer any questions you may have.
Step 2:
Comprehensive New Patient Package
Our Comprehensive New Patient Package is where all new patients start, and it is perfect for diagnostics or second opinions! It is designed for patients who are new to our practice and for patients seeking a thorough evaluation of a rheumatology condition.
The Comprehensive New Patient Package includes the following:​

Initial 90-minute physician visit with physical examination

In-depth review of your existing medical records

Musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations as clinically appropriate

Physician review of test results
-
Global treatment plan development
-
Second physician visit to review clinical findings and discuss your treatment plan
Step 3:
Based upon the clinical findings from your Comprehensive New Patient Package, we recommend one of the following Continuing Care options:
Foundations of Remission: Year 1 Program
In the Foundations of Remission Year 1 Program, we take an intensive approach with the primary goal of you achieving remission. This phase typically spans 6 months to 1 year and focuses on personalized, diagnostic-driven care to address your unique needs.
The Year One Remission Program includes the following:

6 scheduled visits, on average, with your physician
-
Up to 2 additional urgent visits
-
12 months of being an active patient and having access to your rheumatologist
-
Prior authorization for medications handled by a specialized team dedicated to securing approvals quickly
-
Medication management to control any rheumatologic symptoms
-
Musculoskeletal ultrasound examination as clinically appropriate
-
Injections (intra-Muscular, Intra-Articular) as clinically appropriate
-
Physician and team support and communication between visits as needed

Fast Track to Health
Intensive Program (4 months)
Our Fast Track to Health Intensive Program is for patients in need of short-term care to restore their health. This package is ideal for those in need of higher levels of care to start the process of making lifestyle changes to support their wellness.
The Fast Track to Health Intensive Program includes the following:

Monthly coaching visits with Dr. Amigues delivered in person or by telehealth

Access to your rheumatologist for the duration of your 4 months
-
Prior authorization for medications handled by a specialized team dedicated to securing approvals quickly

Medication management to control any rheumatologic symptoms

Musculoskeletal ultrasound examination as clinically appropriate
-
Injections (intra-Muscular, Intra-Articular) as clinically appropriate
-
Comprehensive visit with a highly skilled Registered Dietitian who works in partnership with Dr. Amigues for your specific needs
-
Bi-Weekly visits (7 in total) with a Certified Health Coach who works closely with Dr. Amigues to reach your specific health goals

Comprehensive visit with a Physical Therapist
-
Weekly Accountability check-ins from our UnabridgedMD team

Physician communication between visits as needed

Step 4:
Year 2 Sustained Remission Program
The Year 2 Sustained Remission Program is tailored to patients who have achieved remission and are ready to transition to a lighter treatment approach. This program focuses on maintaining stability, preventing flare-ups, and promoting long-term wellness through holistic and data-driven care. As Dr. Amigues says it, this is the year “we back off from treatments” while maintaining remission.
The Year 2 Sustained Remission Program includes the following:​

Up to 2 additional urgent visits

12 months of being an active patient and having access to your rheumatologist

Prior authorization for medications handled by a specialized team dedicated to securing approvals quickly

Musculoskeletal ultrasound examination as clinically appropriate

Injections (intra-Muscular, Intra-Articular) as clinically appropriate

Step 5:
Year 3 Maintenance Program
Our Year 3 Maintenance Program designed for patients who have achieved sustained remission and require minimal ongoing care. This program focuses on monitoring your progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring long-term stability. While you are an active patient, our goal is to provide continued support while empowering you to maintain your health independently. We prioritize preventative care and proactive management to help you thrive in your daily life in this program.
The Year 3 Maintenance Program includes the following:​

3 scheduled visits, on average, with your physician

Up to 2 additional urgent visits

12 months of being an active patient and having access to your rheumatologist

Medication prior Authorization with a team specialized to obtain approval
-
Medication management to control any rheumatologic symptoms

Musculoskeletal ultrasound examination as clinically appropriate

Injections (intra-Muscular, Intra-Articular) as clinically appropriate
-
Physician and team support and communication between visits as needed
